This work is due to a broad pattern of national and international cooperation. It was evoked by a sequenced project on the foundations of moral education by four teams of philosophers, psychologists, educationists and social thinkers from North and South America. It was realized at the Universidad Católica Andrés Bello in Caracas with the participation of scholars from Venezuela, Colombia and North America. The work was supported by the Pro Vita Foundation under the wise and generous leadership of Mrs. Catherine Volmer. The manuscript was prepared by Mrs. Linda Perez of the Philippines, Miss Hu Yeping of China, and Nancy Graham of the United States.
