Theme

Science determines the welfare of society. However, in the face of modern globalization, scientific and technological development must be guided by ethical norms and principles in order to keep the world safe. The conference will focus on the ethical challenges posed by the modern technology and artificial intelligence (AI). The application of modern technology and AI in medicine is not merely based on techniques and skills but also invovle cognitive psychology, neurology, genetics, philosophy, linguistics, mathematics, logic, communication, etc. According to scientific data, modern technology and AI are regulated by the laws of the country, but tradition, religion and cultural heritage should also be taken into consideration when making such laws. Interdisciplinary research and technological advances can change people‘s attitudes towards medicine and health care, and raise questions on the boundaries of interventions in personal and public life. They can also expose existential issues.
