Evolution and Development of Human Civilization

Thematic Description

 

In order to promote in-depth research on the evolution and development of human civilization, it is necessary to study the connotation and value of the new form of human civilization as well as to enhance the international dissemination and influence of Chinese theory and Chinese discourse.  It has been great interest for scholars to study such themes as common values of humankind and world civilization in the 21st century; diversity and mutual learning of world civilization and cultural development; the progress and diverse forms of civilization in various regions around the world; cross-Cultural Philosophical Studies; the new form of human civilization and the construction of a community with a shared future for humankind; the world significance of new human civilization; the path and value orientation of the Chinese civilization, past and present; the Chinese cultural heritage in the new age; the international communication of new human civilization and China’s narrative, and so on. The conference invites scholars from all parts of the world to share research findings and ideas on these and other related issues.

 

Abstract
Please send an abstract (300 to 500 words) and a brief CV to [cua-rvp@cua.edu] by March 20, 2024. Full paper will be due on June 10, 2024. Well-developed papers will be published by the Council for Research in Values and Philosophy in its publication series “Cultural Heritage and Contemporary Change.”

 

Logistics

Conference participants will cover the costs of their own travel, the conference organizer will provide room and meal during the conference. Detailed abstract should be sent to [zdmyky@163.com] and [cua-rvp@cua.edu] by April 20, 2024 and full paper by June 10, 2024.  The conference will be conducted in English.
